Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering focused on power generation.
• Pr. Eng. with ECSA registration is required.
• Experience with power system analysis and protection systems.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems for power generation plants
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, including generators, transformers, and switchgear
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal plant performance
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports for new projects and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and operations personnel, on project requirements and solutions
