Electrical Engineer / Electrician

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrician to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with specific experience in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities :

• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment throughout the hospital facility.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards and regulations, including compliance with hospital policies and local regulations.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages to minimize disruption to hospital operations and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and renovations within the hospital facility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and hospital personnel to coordinate electrical work with other departments and ensure seamless operations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, including documentation of equipment specifications and warranties.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to hospital staff on electrical safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer / Electrician, with specific experience in the hospital or healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
