This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that surpass industry best practices and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility studies and cost engineering analyses, including return on investment assessments.
Perform load calculations, energy reports, and due diligence assessments.
Design MV & LV infrastructure, including standby power solutions.
Develop bespoke and façade lighting solutions.
Implement energy and building management systems, including metering solutions.
Integrate renewable energy systems into building designs.
Design digital infrastructure and security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
Develop life protection systems, such as smoke detection and public address systems.
Create lighting control and automation solutions.
Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in electrical and electronic building services design.
Proficiency in design software relevant to electrical engineering.
Strong understanding of energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
