Description

Our manufacturing client based in Port Elizabeth is looking to employ an experienced Electrical Engineer to their team.

Requirements

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
• Experience with E-PLAN P8 software (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of Siemens PLCs and industrial control circuits
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems and layouts for industrial and automation applications
• Develop and update electrical schematics and documentation using E-PLAN P8
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems, including Siemens PLCs and other industrial control circuits
• Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety compliance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production and project delivery
• Provide technical support for electrical components and systems during installation and commissioning phases
• Ensure adherence to electrical engineering standards, policies, and regulations
