Job summary

S4 Integration (Pty) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer in the Eastern Cape region.

The role involves providing technical support across the design lifecycle, assembling electrical systems and prototypes, and ensuring proper installation and maintenance of control systems. Key tasks include using E-Plan Electric P8 and E-Plan 5 for design work, conducting tests, and collaborating with engineers to resolve developmental problems.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma required or preferred.
• Experience with E-Plan Electric P8 and E-Plan 5 is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and resolve electrical or engineering problems before, during, and after assembly.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes using engineering data and electrical principles.
• Install and maintain electrical control systems.
• Modify electrical prototypes and parts to correct functional deviations.
• Set up and operate test equipment and record results.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to identify and solve development problems.
• Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments and testing equipment.
• Analyse test information to resolve design-related issues.
