Role : Electrical Design Engineer Industry : Renewable Energy Level : Mid-level (3 years experience) Key Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Registration as a Candidate Engineer
• Basic understanding of load-flow and fault-level analysis
• Experience in producing designs for electrical systems such as substations and power lines
• Knowledge of protection, telecomms, metering and control design principles
• Familiarity with grid connection application processes (Eskom context)
• Understanding of local grid codes and standards for renewable energy projects
• Experience with renewable energy systems (wind, solar, storage) is advantageous Personal Attributes :
