Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Draughtsperson to join their dynamic team. Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed 2D and 3D electrical and instrumentation drawings using MicroStation CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare accurate layouts and schematics in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure all designs and drawings are compliant with South African regulations and SANS standards.
• Support project documentation by maintaining revision records, generating bills of materials, and assisting in documentation control.
• Incorporate design feedback and perform quality assurance checks to ensure drawings meet specifications and industry standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma in Draughting, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation draughting within engineering or industrial environments.
• Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• CAD or draughting certifications are advantageous.
• Experience or certification with Bentley Systems : MicroStation (Electrical) will be highly regarded.
