Responsabilités

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor or healthcare professionals promptly.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and daily logs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in healthcare support or elder care is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in providing direct care to the elderly, either in a home care setting or facility.
• Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of older adults.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, families, and colleagues empathetically.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is an asset.
• Must possess a caring and compassionate nature.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required in **Mossel Bay**.
