What we’re looking for:

We are seeking an EHS Specialist to join our team. The main responsibilities include guiding and implementing occupational health and environmental programs. The role involves close collaboration with the EHS Manager and line managers, and typically reports to the EHS Manager.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage EHS operations to meet set goals.
  • Ensure EHS compliance through training, coaching, medical surveillance, and toolbox talks.
  • Manage, update, and implement SHE procedures.
  • Investigate and report SHE incidents.
  • Manage internal and assist external SHE audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local authorities' requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Compile and maintain EHS monthly statistics.
  • Manage IOD procedures.
  • Drive SHE committee initiatives.
  • Facilitate external and internal training sessions.
  • Update EHS trackers regularly.
  • Implement GEHSMS standards.
  • Oversee fleet safety, coaching, and manage violations.
  • Verify contractor SHE files and manage on-site contractor activities.
Qualifications:

What qualifies you for this role:

  • Diploma or Degree (minimum qualification).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Risk assessment experience (HIRA).
  • Computer skills.
