Profile Personnel seeks an EHS Intern to support safety initiatives in a manufacturing/automotive context in South Africa. You will help ensure compliance with OHS legislation, assist with risk assessments and JSA development, and aid in delivering training and induction programs.

The role offers practical experience in safety initiatives within a dynamic team and room to grow in a supportive environment. Applicants should be pursuing a related degree and bring basic safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Qualification or degree in a related field.
• Analytical skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and legislation.
• RPE knowledge is advantageous.
• Familiarity with R programming or related analytical tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist in ensuring compliance with OHS legislation and company policies.
• Support the implementation of safety procedures, standards, and risk controls.
• Participate in risk assessments (HIRA).
• Assist with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Procedures.
• Support in organizing safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Assist with induction programs for new employees.
