Are you an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist with a solid background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and Machine Learning (ML) models? Here's a perfect opportunity in the East Rand, Johannesburg.

Duties & Responsibilities

My client is one of the big players in the automotive industry. They provide a range of vehicle-related financial services and products, including service and maintenance plans, warranties, parts protection, and insurance products.

About the Role :

Analyze business requirements, advise on, and develop optimized BI solutions, visualizing results utilizing technologies from the MS BI stack. The focus will also be on Robotic Process Automation and integrating ML and generative AI concepts to improve efficiencies in operational and financial processes.

It Involves :

Guiding business and technical users through the full SDLC: defining the issue statement, business and technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, end-to-end documentation, user support, and leading customer interaction sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Deliver accurate, optimized, and time-efficient BI solutions aimed at improving business success through AI & ML technologies.
• Guide users through the full SDLC and lead customer interaction sessions.
• Use data and data flows to identify areas for business support and process improvement.
• Develop technical standards for the BI Department and guide other BI Developers.
• Conduct code reviews and refactoring.
• Work independently to ensure timely project delivery.
• Perform quality assessments of data, reports, and decisions.
• Provide action-driven recommendations and insights to executives and managers.

Requirements :

• 7+ years experience in Business Intelligence, with a solid background in AI, RPA, and ML models.
• Proficiency in MS SQL (advanced), SSRS, SSAS.
• Experience with MS Power Tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents).
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and usage.
• Experience with ML model implementation.
• Scripting experience in R, DAX, and Python.

Educational Requirements :

• Matric, with a BSc Degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
• MS BI or Data Analytics Certification.
