Job description

Well established company is requiring a Contracts Foreman.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Effective planning of team's time
2. Quality control of the physical works and installations on site
3. Inspections and reports back to Head Office
4. Attending site meetings
5. Controlling of installation of materials and equipment
6. Supervision of labourers on site - may be required to stay out of town until project is complete
7. Stock control of materials and tools
8. Vehicle control
9. Control and maintenance of tools
10. Ensuring staff have been issued with safety equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Supervisory, construction and project management experience
• Technical qualification in electrical / construction would be ideal
• Hands-on person
• Able to read construction reports
• A fit and able person who is able to work at heights
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Hardworking person of sober habits
• SA passport and own reliable transport
• Afrikaans and English speaking
