AVBOB Vacancies 2022 – National Senior Liaison Officer

Job Description:

position exists within our organisation and is responsible for liasing with various Stakeholders e.g. Council of Centurion age, SAGA, Plus 50 Grey power Age in action, SARP, Head of the SAVF, etc. in order to create a good platform for AVBOB business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish relationships with churches, hospital senior structures, old age homes
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding the benefit of our products on Senior citizens and key institutions
• Identify people (institutions) working with Senior citizens e.g. Clinics/matrons and managers of old age homes build relationships for prospective business
• Build relationships with all the above stakeholders working with the old age facilities in order to source business
• Set a platform for the consultant to come and sell our product
• Provide a client and public liaison service focused on maintaining and enhancing the Group’s image with the military, correctional services and the SAPS
• Conduct weekly visits to the old age homes
• Present the file of life to the old age candidates

Job Requirements:

• Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
• Organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
• Fit and Proper
• Capability to negotiate with and influence others
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of Long term insurance industry practices and legislative requirements governing the Insurance sector including FAIS and FICA.
• 2 years of experience in a related role
