The role of the Senior Functional Consultant (BPC) involves streamlining and supporting engagement between the Pick n Pay business, technical teams, and partners related to financial planning, consolidation, and reporting information and insights.

The role offers opportunities and constraints within systems and data, facilitating optimal system performance and data utilization to enable insights-driven decision-making and opportunity identification.

You will upskill and support team members and be part of the Data and Analytics team.

The role requires you to be a BPC support/developer specialist, trainer, facilitator, and role model working with all levels of business users and external consultants.

If you are passionate about using information and processes to measure and manage financial aspects of the business and improve workflows, you'll be a great fit.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years' hands-on SAP BPC development and support
  • 2 years as a Team Lead
  • Understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards
  • Knowledge of SAP FI modules and BW / Business Intelligence systems
  • Ability to design and interpret SAP BW reporting architecture
  • Understanding of SAP ECC and non-SAP data structures and interfaces to SAP BW
