IT Business Development Manager - Yealink

We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to manage assigned reseller accounts, ensuring the growth and development of the relevant brand sales and its offerings according to set targets.

The role involves assisting partners with business opportunities, lead generation, marketing initiatives, and understanding relevant programs to maximize partners' market reach.

Company Overview

We are a qualified and highly specialized distributor of top international Broadband, Wireless, Networking, and VoIP brands, expanding our product offerings with a strong reputation and proven track record in the ICT industry, trusted by leading ISPs and network operators across Southern Africa.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage sales and brand performance to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  2. Expand the active partner base across all countries in SADC.
  3. Review business strategies and rebate investments monthly.
  4. Develop a healthy sales pipeline across all brands.
  5. Implement key sales and marketing strategies in SADC.
  6. Engage in quarterly and annual marketing planning sessions with relevant brands.
  7. Execute quarterly promotional and program planning sessions.
  8. Develop and manage account plans and performance measurement systems.
  9. Actively monitor and manage debt collection across partners.
  10. Manage partner queries related to sales, technical, or finance issues.
  11. Drive revenue through targeted brand partners and resellers.
  12. Develop and execute brand and product strategies with partners.
  13. Recruit and develop new brand-specific partners, including onboarding processes.
  14. Build and maintain effective relationships with brand team members.
  15. Ensure execution of business plans in collaboration with strategic partners.
  16. Report deal progress and pipeline details regularly using CRM systems.
  17. Achieve sales targets and report deviations with explanations.
  18. Maintain weekly activity reports and meeting minutes.
  19. Follow up on quotes and operational responses, manage SLAs.
Requirements
  • Completed Diploma/Certificate in IT (beneficial).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
  • Knowledge of Accpac CRM (highly beneficial).
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development or Account Management.
  • Own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative, solution-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Knowledge of Yealink products, vendor structures, and the South African ICT industry.
  • Ability to meet service-level agreements and work under pressure.
  • Previous experience selling networking products/solutions is beneficial.
Package & Remuneration

The position is based in Centurion with a basic salary between R30,000 and R40,000 per month. This is an on-site role with standard office hours.
