Job Description

1. Work closely with Solution Sales and HoD Industry Vertical to understand priority sector and client needs and translate these into compelling technology solutions in Fixed and Mobile that drive business value.
2. Develop a catalogue of standardised Enterprise solutions to drive scale, with the flexibility for aggregation and customization to meet client needs.
3. Lead the creation of Blueprints, Roadmaps, and reusable assets with cross-functional Enterprise stakeholders to support market-leading solutions.
4. Define and maintain the Enterprise technology architecture and standards, aligning with MTN Group guidelines, to guide solution design and integration.
5. Lead Solution and Deal architects to work with sales teams in defining, designing, and implementing effective architecture solutions to benefit clients.
6. Oversee the development of commercial and pricing models to guide profitable deals in collaboration with finance.
7. Develop SLA approaches to ensure effective agreements between vendors and local teams for large, priority, and pilot deals.
8. Provision solution, pre-sales, and deal architecture support throughout the solution lifecycle.
9. Review pilot, initial, and priority implementations to update architecture and standardize solutions for replication and industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to position MTN as a trusted partner within key industry verticals such as mining, manufacturing, and energy.
• Contribute to the development of an Enterprise solution strategy aligned with industry, client, and regional targets.
• Create and implement a technology partnership and ecosystem strategy to meet lifecycle requirements.
• Develop a managed service/operate strategy for deployment at OpCo level.
• Identify market trends and technological advancements to inform MTN's industry approach.
• Scan the environment for leading technology innovations in the Enterprise sphere and digital transformation.
• Maintain industry reference models and best practices to enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Translate business problems into technical and commercial solutions, working with product, solutions, and engineering teams.
• Ensure solution proposals align with customer outcomes and industry trends.
• Support bid strategies and lead high-stakes bid discussions at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT; MBA advantageous.
• ITIL 4 certification preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in ICT solution sales, including 5-10 years delivering solutions in telecommunications or technology sectors.
• Experience in digital transformation projects for large enterprises across the lifecycle.
• Proven network of industry decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
