Job Title: LCS Supervisor - Rustenburg

We are seeking an LCS Supervisor to join our Rustenburg LCS team. You will be responsible for providing Metso’s customers with professional technical support of its products.

This position involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision makers at customer sites and promoting Metso’s value-added offerings to ensure high customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Manager LCS SAF East and be mainly located in Rustenburg Northwest.

Team You Belong To

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including LCS Support Centre, to ensure a common understanding and application of technical and safety support for excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Manage contract agreements across various sites, including operations & maintenance, project upgrades, and modernizations.
• Promote a Health & Safety Culture on site.
• Ensure delivery according to contract scope and address deviations.
• Maintain process compliance and handle all communications, reports, and escalations.
• Contribute to sales opportunities through delivery and capacity management, including up-sales and renewals.
• Manage maintenance service teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements & Competences

• Safety mindset and experience with large service agreements and site or production management.
• Basic financial knowledge and good people management skills.
• Project management understanding, especially related to Metso technologies and processes.
• Hands-on supervision of Metso equipment, e.g., crushers, for preventive inspections.

Performance Metrics

Financial: Cost control, budget compliance.

Operational: O&M availability, safety KPIs, customer & employee satisfaction surveys, utilization rate, RCA management.

Collaboration & Stakeholders: Work with all functions in the African market area, including sales, site managers, unions, and official bodies.

Who You Are

• Grade 12 (Matric) and technical qualification preferred.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and team leadership.
• Knowledge of international business relations, maintenance planning, and risk management.

Essential Skills & Abilities

• Project management in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Ability to work under stress, prioritize, and travel frequently.
