Retail Key Account Manager

Our client is an international company offering world-class, technologically advanced digital products and services in both B2B and B2C environments.

The group is renowned for technological excellence and innovation and boasts one of the most admired brands globally.

They have a global sales and operations network, with one of their fastest-growing business units located in South Africa.

Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a professional and committed individual for the position of Retail Key Account Manager. This role is based in Centurion, Gauteng. The primary focus is to maximize the performance of this key account in line with strategic and business objectives, strengthening relationships with key organizational personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, your main responsibilities include:
  2. Achieving the sales targets for the assigned accounts and completing all related tasks to meet these objectives.
  3. Developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic and tactical business plans; coordinating resources to achieve business goals for the accounts.
  4. Utilizing and planning investments to maximize business performance and return on investment.
  5. Monitoring and analyzing account data to optimize business performance and identify new local opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Matric certificate is essential.
  • Sales and marketing qualification is highly advantageous, along with proven experience in FMCG digital/electronic/print retail sectors in a related role.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of key account management experience in digital, printing, or camera retail.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Open to South African citizens with a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and own vehicle preferred.
  • Must be well presented with a professional stature, as dealings will involve top management.
