Job Title: Sales Assistant - Crocs - Cape Town
Job Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales
    • Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds.
    • Deliver excellent customer service following Birkenstock procedures.
    • Identify customer needs and demonstrate product benefits.
    • Close sales and promote add-on sales.
    • Encourage customer return and foster brand loyalty.
    • Monitor daily sales against targets regularly.
  2. Inventory
    • Replenish stock daily.
    • Minimize shrinkage through proper zoning and policy adherence.
    • Accurately record stock in POS system.
    • Handle deliveries, including checking, tagging, and pricing.
    • Process customer orders efficiently.
  3. Daily Operations
    • Maintain store cleanliness and organization daily.
    • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  4. Training
    • Take responsibility for your training.
    • Learn from assigned buddy.
    • Attend quarterly training and assessments.
    • Receive monthly feedback from management.
    • Meet monthly with store manager to review progress.
    • Participate in training to qualify for promotions.
  5. Merchandising
    • Maintain stock presentation standards.
    • Replenish sizes regularly.
    • Assist with window and mannequin updates biweekly.
    • Store POS materials properly to prevent damage.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Birkenstock products is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
  • Experience in sales, retail, or business development is preferred.
