Vacancy: Hybrid Sales Consultant

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Main Purpose Of Job
  1. Source and sell armed monitoring and armed response agreements to potential new customers.
  2. Source and sell new and upgraded alarm systems, CCTV systems, and electric fences.
  3. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for new customers and hardware sales.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Previous sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in capital goods sales.
  2. Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC alarm systems is advantageous.
  3. Matric or equivalent qualification.
  4. Valid PSIRA Grade C registration.
Job Requirements & Attributes
  1. Self-motivated and energetic.
  2. Good selling, organizational, and time management skills.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Computer literate (MS Office, email, internet).
  5. Presentable and of sober habits.
  6. Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (both compulsory).
  7. Field sales experience including residential visits, cold calling, and door knocking (compulsory).
  8. Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans preferred.
  9. Passionate about community safety and proactive in seeking new business.
  10. Aptitude for electronic and technical equipment (alarms and monitoring platforms).
Duties
  1. Generate and close self-sourced deals.
  2. Follow up on all leads received internally and via telesales.
  3. Sell security solutions to new and existing clients.
  4. Build long-standing relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, etc.
  5. Maintain all sales-related administrative duties.
  6. Report regularly on sales activities.
  7. Motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  2. Maintain high standards of relationships with existing estate clients.
  3. Follow up promptly on all leads and quotes.
