About The Role

As Senior Accountant, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the Client Portfolio Financial Department, develop systems that cater for the reporting needs of Property Owners and apply material and manpower resources to achieve objectives outlined in the strategy specific to minor organizational functions.

What You Will Bring
  1. B Com Accounting / Financial Management or CA (SA)
  2. 3 years articles
  3. 5 years relevant experience in the property management industry essential
  4. Computer literacy in SAP / SAP BI, MS Office - Excel Advanced, Outlook and Word
  5. Detailed knowledge of all financial policies, procedures and processes, capital expenditure, contract management legal aspects, income statements, balances sheets, budgets, forecasts, IFRS and Tax.
What you will be doing
  1. Portfolio Management And Reporting
  2. Overall control and management of the Finance, Leasing, Billing, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Credit Control and Management Company Reporting for the Portfolio.
  3. Managing and providing guidance to Reporting and Operational Financial Managers.
  4. Assisting in and reviewing of deliverables due to client.
  5. Provide Management information and reports.
  6. Pro-active communication with and feedback to clients.
  7. Provide ad-hoc reports as required.
  8. Handling of queries related to financial reporting.
  9. Auditing & Analytical explanations.
  10. Adjustment Account Management.
  11. Monthly statutory reporting.
  12. Cash management and distributions to owners and co-owners.
  13. Attend monthly Manco meetings with client.
  14. Management of cash flow and owner payments including management of banking.
  15. Calculation and management of client KPI scorecard.
  16. BEE Spend management.
  17. Compilation of OPSCO report and attending the OPSCO meeting.
  18. Maintenance of Standard Management Pack.
  19. Maintenance and enhancing of policies and procedures.
  20. Drafting new policies as and when required by landlord and management company.
  21. Budgeting and Forecasting.
  22. Management of contractual information input in SAP and other related systems.
  23. Lease audits.
  24. Automation of processes with regards to reporting and management fees.
  25. Liaise with IT on a continuous basis to improve reporting and ensure automatization of reports.
  26. Review results for the Business Unit.
  27. People Management.
  28. Risk and Compliance.
