MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide quality and safe clinical care to patients presenting to the emergency centre through assessing, diagnosing, treating, and disposition according to best practice standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Provide quality, safe clinical care in the emergency centre.
  • Assist with teaching and coordinating clinical development programmes to improve patient care.
  • Support and ensure adherence to triage protocols in the emergency centre.
  • Participate in company strategies, e.g., PatientsFirst@Mediclinic.
  • Engage in emergency centre quality improvement and assurance initiatives to ensure continuous delivery of safe, quality patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise in emergency medical care.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Essential: MB BCh/MB ChB
  • Desired: Dip PEC, MPhil
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Essential: Completion of internship and community service years.
  • Desired: Experience working in an emergency centre in a private or public hospital after community service.
