• Experience in preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.

Job description

Oversee mechanical maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults on production equipment.

Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant modifications.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Minimum Requirements :

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

At least 35 years experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.

Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and conveyors.

Experience in preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Advantageous :

Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).

Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.

Professional registration or working towards ECSA registration.

GGC registered.
