Job Description
Reporting directly into the Global Head: Legal, this experienced professional will provide leadership in delivering reliable, accurate, and well-informed legal advice to SecurityHQ, covering legal, regulatory, and related matters to support business growth.
This individual will supervise the contract management process to ensure legal liabilities and risks are minimized and will provide strategic legal advice to mitigate legal and reputational risks by ensuring compliance with legislation, internal governance, and best practices across all regions of operation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate legal policies and practices are in place to manage legal obligations and risks effectively.
- Advise and support internal stakeholders in negotiating complex legal agreements and resolving ad-hoc legal issues.
- Maintain professional best practices within the legal team.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor legal staff.
- Regularly review and update standard agreement templates.
- Provide strategic legal advice on issues such as corporate governance, intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and assist in developing company policies and procedures.
- Manage legal risks by designing and implementing relevant policies.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

- Knowledge of information systems and cybertechnology is advantageous.
Education & Experience
- LLB Degree with articles completed.
- Minimum of 5 years post-article experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and vetoing legal agreements and documentation.
