Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

• Analysis of jobs for closure (WIP) and attending Manufacturing WIP meetings
• Address WIP challenges and report back to Business Unit managers on WIP status
• Analysis of jobs for sales results
• Reporting weekly income statement estimates to the USA
• Preparing month-end finance pack to distribute to the business
• Analysis of monthly sales margins and investigation of deviations from the norm
• Preparation of quarterly accounting packs for submission to US Corporate Accounting department
• Preparation of outlook and budget files (sales and costs) and upload into SAP
• Preparation and review of general ledger account reconciliations
• Participate in WIP stock count when required
• Preparing and circulating sales updates when required
• Month-end reconciliation preparation

Minimum Skills Required

• Must have completed a B Com Hons degree in Accounting or Finance / PGDIP qualification
• CGMA qualification would be an advantage
• At least 4–5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
• SAP/R3 experience is required
• Computer literate in MS Office suite (Advanced Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
