Qualifications

  • Minimum a Diploma in Biotechnology or Microbiology.
  • Experience in an FMCG Company is an advantage.

The key purpose of this role is to carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials, in process samples and packaged product.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment and workplace
  • Maintain and calibrate all inspection equipment
  • Verify equipment against manualised procedures so as to achieve accurate & reliable results.
  • Interpret & interrogate data in order to assess equipment & operator performance
  • Analyze samples
  • Prepare samples and conduct analysis
  • Analyze lab samples and produce results as per set standards
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Comply with safety, health and environment procedures and legislation
  • Support problem solving initiatives
  • Adhere to the PPE policy and identify unsafe practices
  • Work in teams
  • Communicate effectively in the workplace
  • Contribute to self and team development

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum a Diploma in Biotechnology / Microbiology
  • A working experience in FMCG Company will be an added advantage
