Multi-Manager Unitization Implementation Specialist

Role Purpose

This position is based within the Momentum Group Investment Services, located at our Centurion head office or Cape Town Parc du Cap office. The successful candidate will perform specialized activities related to multi-manager unitization implementations, including portfolio structure implementation, cash flow oversight, fund transitions, and daily NAV monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate client and portfolio take-on and disinvestment activities, managing static data within system platforms.
  2. Oversee daily NAV functions, including investigation of pricing queries and policyholder product pricing.
  3. Manage cash flow activities such as rebalancing, switches, and structure changes.
  4. Provide technical advice on portfolio structures and fee implementations.
  5. Ensure asset allocations are aligned with mandates and client instructions.
  6. Manage client, portfolio, and fund manager fees, including processing and reporting.
  7. Perform system access reviews and maintain data integrity across systems.
  8. Review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
  9. Participate in strategic initiatives and maintain detailed process documentation.
Minimum Requirements
  • BCom degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-7 years' experience in investment operations, particularly multi-manager environments.
  • Knowledge of unitization and investment administration systems is advantageous.
  • Understanding of asset-based taxes and budgeting processes is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and attention to detail.
