Role Description:

Booking.com is seeking a full-time Account Manager for our office in Cape Town. You will support Booking.com BV by informing and consulting accommodation partners about their business performance, market opportunities, and industry trends. Your goal is to empower partners to use Booking.com’s system, tools, and products effectively, optimizing their performance and enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective Communication: Clearly express ideas and adapt your style to different audiences.
  • Market Management: Evaluate local market trends and prioritize account performance to maximize business value.
  • Partner Needs: Identify, clarify, and prioritize partner needs to create value.
  • Solution Formulation: Match partner needs with relevant offerings and present compelling solutions.
  • Gaining Commitment: Drive conversations towards successful outcomes.
  • Representation: Demonstrate professional behavior and embody Booking.com values.
  • Self-Development: Recognize emotional cues and use them to guide interactions and achieve goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least 2 years of experience in account management or sales.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience or affinity with e-commerce or travel industry is a plus.
  • Proactive, responsible, independent, team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change.
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
