Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  1. Craft copy suited to social formats without sacrificing quality.
  2. Work closely with creative teams (designers, art directors, etc.) and contribute constructively.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring value and cohesion.
  4. Listen to understand the brief for clarity and seek solutions.
  5. Understand the importance of on-brand writing and adapting tone of voice for different clients.
  6. Work on projects of varying sizes, invested in the final product.
  7. Understand social media platforms, tools, and content marketing fundamentals.
  8. Learn the latest social media formats, trends, and audience behaviors to keep work relevant.
  9. Appreciate creative strategy and understand business operations.
  10. Present ideas and concepts confidently to the team.
  11. Practice cross-channel thinking and contribute creative solutions.
  12. Innovate with formats and platforms to produce ground-breaking work.
  13. Advise and support junior team members.
  14. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and tone errors.
  15. Provide relevant feedback and input strategically.
  16. Analyze situations and respond with solutions.
  17. Stay updated on advertising trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications / Requirements / Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Copywriting / Digital Copywriting.
  • Proficient in Office365 (MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a MW Copywriter in an Advertising or Digital Advertising Agency; TTL & Digital experience essential.
  • Strong knowledge of digital writing, industry trends, and principles.
  • Understanding of social platforms and paid formats.
  • Own social media account or regular consumption of social media; familiarity with TikTok is beneficial.
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
  • Strong presentation, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating TTL & Digital work.
  • Personal attributes: team player, independent worker, creative thinker, proactive, resilient, deadline-driven, meticulous.
  • Comfortable working on-site and with alcohol brands if required.
