Job Opportunity: Senior Civil Design Engineer - Water Infrastructure & Design

We have a client with an exciting opportunity based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Role:

Senior Civil Design Engineer - Water Infrastructure & Design

Industry:

Level:

Senior

Key Requirements:

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum years of relevant experience
• Professional registration (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech) highly advantageous

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in design and construction monitoring of pipelines and ancillaries
• Experience with pump stations, storm water, and open channel flow systems
• Earthworks and platform design using Civil 3D
• Hydraulic modelling using KY-Pipe, EPANET, PC SWMM, HEC-RAS, or Bentley software
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Ability to prepare cost estimates, reports, tender documentation, and as-built drawings
• Strong understanding of contract and construction procedures
• Project and engineering management experience beneficial

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness and flexibility to travel locally and across Africa
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and passport
