Job Title: Out-of-Hours Team Leader

SD Recruitment (Pty) Ltd offers a 24/7 service, requiring the Out-of-Hours Team Leader to ensure continuous coverage for urgent matters based on operational needs. Join us to lead our team in maintaining operational excellence. In this role, you will manage all urgent Out-of-Hours issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities


  1. Sales & Performance Management

    • Set and monitor booking targets for the OOH team

    • Ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue and performance goals

    • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews

    • Implement and track strategic plans to improve performance



  2. Leadership & Team Management

    • Supervise and lead the team, ensuring performance standards

    • Evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and support

    • Handle HR and IR matters such as payroll, leave, and discipline

    • Perform after-hours supervision by visiting the team at least twice a month during night and weekend shifts



  3. Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

    • Monitor facility revenue against budgets and booking requests

    • Oversee booking processes via online portals and calls

    • Identify additional booking opportunities and staffing needs

    • Ensure team adherence to booking protocols and compliance

    • Conduct regular client visits, including after-hours, to ensure service quality



  4. Compliance & Process Adherence

    • Ensure team compliance with regulations

    • Maintain accurate electronic data management and CRM use

    • Propose and implement process improvements

    • Follow incident management protocols and escalate as needed



  5. Reporting & Operational Oversight

    • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Operations Manager

    • Attend internal and external meetings as required

    • Manage team resources, monitor expenditures and costs

    • Resolve complaints promptly and professionally



  6. Recruitment, Training & Development

    • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members

    • Develop training initiatives to improve team efficiency and service
