The role you'll contribute:

The Team Leader supervises, coordinates, and performs patient care delivery on assigned nursing unit and meets Standards of Nursing Care for the shift. Acts as a clinical resource and role model. Participates in conducting performance appraisals for personnel on the shift.

The professional Registered Nurse demonstrates autonomy by making sound judgments and critical decisions in clinical practice and determines growth and development needs for self and staff. Maintains current knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care/services, understanding principles of growth and development across the lifespan.

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate patient care needs for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Data collection is precise, continuous, accessible, and well-documented. Nursing diagnoses are used to reflect patient problems derived from age-specific data.
