Job Purpose
To increase the client base and fulfill clients' sales and service needs through the mobile channel in line with Nedbank's strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquire new business by selling Nedbank products to newly identified companies and their staff.
- Fetch new business outside of the established branch channel through mobile capability.
- Assist companies with financial wellness programmes for their staff.
- Identify new sales opportunities by engaging employees of newly identified companies and the communities they operate in.
- Conduct needs analysis to meet companies' and their staff's financial needs.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders for team collaboration, sales, and service support, and to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain external relationships with companies to ensure client service and future sales opportunities.
- Maintain internal relationships to support sales opportunities from Retail, Relationship, and Business Banking.
- Review action plans and take corrective measures to achieve sales and service targets.
- Create an environment conducive to selling Nedbank products and services within companies and communities.
- Utilize resources to manage risks according to Nedbank policies (e.g., using ultraviolet lights to verify identities).
- Address challenges in community sales areas proactively to prevent or resolve issues.
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
- Contribute to Nedbank culture-building initiatives and support corporate responsibility efforts.
- Seek opportunities for process and system improvements through innovative thinking.
Minimum Experience Level
- At least 3 years of relationship management experience in the financial sector.
- At least 2-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record in a high-pressure sales environment.
- At least 3 years of sales experience specifically in Home Loans, estate agency, or bond origination.
Requirements
- NQF Level 5 or higher qualification in a financial or business-related field.
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
Technical / Professional Knowledge
- Business principles and terminology.
- Data analysis and governance, risk, and controls.
- Relevant regulatory knowledge and banking procedures.
- Operational knowledge specific to the cluster.
- Sales strategies, relationship building, and customer satisfaction techniques.
