Job description

Exciting opportunities exist for an Occupational Health Nurse to work in an Occupational Health Clinic in Atlantis, Western Cape.

The current advertised position is for a non-shift position, 24 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality occupational and primary healthcare services that are effective, efficient, and exceed customer expectations.

Critical Outputs
  1. Work in an onsite clinic offering occupational and primary health care services.
  2. Manage client contracts on-site.
  3. Develop and implement occupational health programs.
  4. Meet targets set in occupational health and quality programs.
  5. Fulfill quality audit requirements for the site.
  6. Initiate and manage health projects on-site.
  7. Work effectively within a team.
  8. Deliver high-quality healthcare services and complete administrative tasks promptly.
  9. Adhere to professional and quality standards of Life HS and the client.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse with the SANC.
  • Additional qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Additional qualifications in audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and dispensing.
  • Competence in basic computer skills, administration, employee relations, and communication.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, with the ability to deliver quality outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Competent in emergency first aid for medical emergencies.
  • Own transport.
