Lyra Southern Africa is recruiting a Clinician to be based onsite for one of our major clients in Durban, South Africa. These are full-time positions, working Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical services including counselling, assessment, intervention, and crisis management.
  2. Support workplace wellness by providing managerial guidance on employee mental health, performance issues, and conflicts.
  3. Collaborate with the wellness team, external providers, and other stakeholders.
  4. Maintain records, report writing, and fulfill administrative responsibilities.
  5. Implement and adhere to policies and procedures related to substance abuse, occupational health, and incapacity management, providing necessary feedback to relevant parties.
Qualifications
  • Social worker qualification is essential.
  • Must be registered with the SACSSP professional board.
  • Experience with EWP or at least 3 years of clinical experience in various settings is preferred.
Skillset
  • Knowledge of solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
  • Understanding of mental health diagnosis, assessment, and treatment.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
