Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description: As the Head of Maintenance in our Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our properties.

You will oversee all aspects of maintenance, including but not limited to, preventive maintenance, repairs, renovations, and compliance with safety standards.

Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the value and appeal of our properties while ensuring tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and control routine maintenance activities of plumbers, contractors, and handymen.
  2. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues reported by tenants.
  3. Provide direction, guidance, and support to the maintenance team for efficient operations.
  4. Conduct regular performance evaluations and mentoring to enhance team performance and development.
  5. Lead, manage, and motivate the maintenance team.
  6. Conduct weekly inspections of maintenance equipment.
  7. Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for properties.
  8. Perform regular inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety for staff and tenants.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  10. Implement procedures for handling hazardous materials, equipment, and emergencies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Facilities Management or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in property management or real estate.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in plumbing and general maintenance.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and related software.
