Position: Financial Manager (Projects)

Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze financial data to assess performance and forecast trends.
  2. Manage budgets, forecasts, and revenue reports; analyze variances and project expenditure.
  3. Prepare working papers and budgets, ensuring project-level compliance and balanced accounts.
  4. Generate financial reports for forecasting and performance analysis.
  5. Stay informed of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external teams.
  7. Maintain communication with Business Units (BUs) and Business Partners to provide guidance and resolve issues.
  8. Review project multipliers, cost-to-complete discrepancies, and take corrective actions monthly.
  9. Manage and review Work In Progress (WIP) schedules, ensuring accurate tracking and aging.
  10. Prepare monthly BU reports following reporting standards and internal controls.
  11. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, particularly for working capital.
  12. Monitor aged debtor reports.
Requirements:
  • BCom in Accounting.
  • 9 to 10 years of relevant experience.
