Job description

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2-3 years experience in cost and management accounting, including analysis and reporting.
  2. A BCom degree or equivalent is preferred, and progress towards a CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in ERP systems and BOM. Familiarity with business intelligence software would be beneficial.
  4. Experience in a FMCG or production environment is preferred.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments.
  6. Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  7. High level of accuracy and a meticulous work ethic.
  8. Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of product costing and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout our production processes. This includes meticulous product costing analysis, variance reporting, and the creation of accurate cost estimates for new products and changes. You'll maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), assist with stock counts and reconciliations, and ensure all cost-related data is accurately entered into relevant systems. You will also play a key role in managing inventory records and providing audit support, contributing to the financial health and integrity of our operations.
