Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer with one of our top-tier banking clients, based in JHB North and surrounds.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software systems, including managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – highly preferable
• Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – preferable

• Banking & consulting experience – very preferable
• Staff management experience – direct reports / project-related – highly preferable
• Power BI experience – very preferable
• Project Management, Agile Methodologies, and Software Development Lifecycle skills – very preferable

• Experience in delivering software systems for the Financial sector
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
