Job summary

A leading company in the automotive industry is seeking a National Sales Manager to oversee strategic planning and dealer network support. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive experience and a solid background in business analysis. This role involves developing policies, managing dealer agreements, and fostering communication within the dealer council. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at OEM level as a National Sales Manager.
  • Valid driver's license (Code 08).
  • Essential: Automotive experience.

Job description

Duties :
  1. Strategic Planning: Direct the planning of the sales network to ensure optimal geographic distribution of the company's products, including research, network strategy, and filling strategic vacant points.
  2. Dealer Network Support: Ensure the dealer network can support the company's products to achieve sales and profit objectives, including vehicle sales support and network (spoke) strategy.
  3. Business Analysis: Conduct regular monthly business analysis, evaluate dealer performance against business plans, and establish and review dealer business plans.
  4. Policy Development: Develop, recommend, and maintain policies and procedures related to operational and developmental expenditures, ensuring they are logical, clear, and concise.
  5. Dealer Agreements: Develop and maintain dealer agreements, monitor their effectiveness and compliance, and ensure they are current and aligned with company standards.
  6. Communication & Management: Foster the National Dealer Council as a communication channel, manage issues, and oversee corporate identification and branding standards.
Requirements :
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at OEM level as a National Sales Manager.
  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
  • Valid driver's license (Code 08).
  • Essential: Automotive experience.
