Teacher of Maths

Are you a Teacher of Maths looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025?

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in Maidstone is seeking a Teacher of Maths for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Maths Head of Department has helped the Maths Department grow significantly, now comprising a mix of young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside multiple Maths graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5 and fosters a fun, creative learning environment for students.

Experienced Maths Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Maths Teachers (ECTs) will benefit from the school's bespoke ECT induction program, working alongside a team of both young and experienced Maths Teachers.

Person Specification
  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
  • Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
  • Ability to work effectively within a large team of Maths Teachers
  • Willingness to accept feedback
