The Senior Engineer role will serve as the Manager of the SOLINK Johannesburg Branch, with a key leadership role in establishing, leading, and growing a high-performing team within the Gauteng region.

SOLINK can assess the business case, structure and run the procurement process, manage the legal contracts required to appoint suppliers, oversee the project construction, and once constructed can independently monitor a system's performance to ensure optimal outputs in line with the agreed energy guarantees.

This role provides the candidate an opportunity to fulfil a role in a rapidly growing company with large potential.Purpose of the position : We are looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Project Engineer with Project Management experience to lead the development, procurement, and execution of renewable energy projects—primarily solar PV and battery energy storage—across various sectors.

This hybrid role combines technical engineering expertise with hands-on project management and team leadership responsibilities.
