Introduction: To ensure the efficient operation of the store and service excellence by leading and directing the store operations team in order to meet sales, profit, and compliance targets, leading to a competitive advantage for the brand.

Job Objectives :

  1. Ensure the achievement of the store's financial performance by driving and maximizing sales, tracking daily targets, weekly and monthly sales plans, and proactively taking appropriate action as required.
  2. Manage and control all operational activities of the store, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping, and administration.
  3. Manage in-store execution of visual merchandising, ensuring standards are maintained and the store's appearance aligns with the brand image.
  4. Ensure competent and motivated employees through effective selection, leadership, management, and ongoing development to meet current and future business needs.
  5. Schedule staff in line with the Group's labour policy and relevant labour model to ensure appropriate staffing.
  6. Attend to administrative responsibilities efficiently, including weekly time and attendance records and employee documentation for HR.
  7. Implement customer service initiatives in-store, take corrective actions to enhance customer experience, drive customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (centre managers, suppliers, DCs) to meet business objectives and capitalize on opportunities.
  9. Monitor customer trends, demographics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  10. Promote cohesion and integration between store, pharmacy, and clinic teams.
  11. Drive a high-performing business culture that fosters employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.
  12. Support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of financial management principles
