Job Description:

Join us as a TMM Developer where you will be responsible for the safe blasting of underground excavations, including the development of waste and reef footprint and ensure the safety of your team members and including the enforcement of mine standards and procedures, thus ensuring that the work places are safe.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained
• Supervise team and manage their performance (including providing training where required)
• Ensure effective implementation of safety systems and initiatives and participate in SHE meetings and campaigns
• Comply with the mine’s traffic management plan
• Ensure compliance to the mine design and practices according to the mining cycle
• Communicate daily mining schedules and planning with the crew
• This role is in the Mining Department at a C2 level reporting to the Shift Supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Blasting Certificate
• To be successful, you will have the following experience:
• Computer Literacy
• At least 5 years TMM miner experience in a mechanized underground mine
• Grade 12
• If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test and Psychometric Assessment
• Record of Service must be attached
• Certified Competent A & B
• Driver’s license code 08 and own transport
