Our solutions help businesses maximize efficiency reduce operational costs and enhance security. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated New Business Sales Consultant to drive our growth by acquiring new customers through a facetoface sales model within the Durban South Africa region.

About the New Business Sales Consultant position

The New Business Sales Consultant will be responsible for hunting and acquiring new B2B customers focusing on solutionbased sales involving our vehicle tracking telematics and SaaS products. This role will involve managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to onboarding customers for the first six months of their journey with us. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology software or SaaS sales with a proven track record of building client relationships negotiating contracts and consistently closing highvalue deals .

The New Business Sales Consultants responsibilities are :

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting :
  • Identify and target new B2B customers through cold calling networking referrals and inbound leads .
  • Use tools to manage and track sales activities from prospecting to pipeline management.
  • Set up and attend facetoface meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Solution Selling & Presentations :
  • Present the companys vehicle tracking telematics and SaaS solutions focusing on how they deliver ROI and operational efficiency for fleet owners.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and customized sales presentations to decisionmakers at all levels from SMEs to large enterprises.
  • Develop and present pricing proposals based on the customers unique needs and vehicle fleet size.
  • Calculate ROI for potential customers and communicate the longterm value of the companys solutions.
  • Tailor pricing models for complex sales cycles ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing :
  • Negotiate contracts with customers including pricing service level agreements (SLAs) and contract lengths.
  • Close deals by overcoming customer objections and handling complex negotiations.
  • Ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements .
  • Customer Onboarding & Handover :
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new customers ensuring they receive proper implementation and support during their first six months.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers needs are met facilitating a smooth transition to the Account Management Team during and after the onboarding period.
  • Vetting & Compliance :
  • Vet potential customers to ensure they align with company criteria working with internal departments to assess risks financial health and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure customers meet any regulatory or industryspecific standards before signing agreements.

The New Business Sales Consultants requirements are :

  • 3 years of experience in B2B sales within the technology software Data or SaaS industry .
  • Proven track record of acquiring new business through cold calling lead generation and facetoface selling .
  • Experience selling solutionbased products or services particularly within software telematics fleet management or datadriven technology .
  • Demonstrable experience in pricing models contract negotiation and closing deals with SMB enterprise or large business clients.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through to contract completion and customer onboarding.
  • Bachelors degree in business Sales Marketing or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in hunting for new business and consistently closing deals in line with the allocated sales target in a facetoface sales environment.
  • Experience with datadriven solutions telematics SaaS or fleet management is highly desirable.

New Business Sales Consultants skills required :
