Key Purpose

The primary goal of this role is to enhance packaging unit/hall performance through continuous improvement initiatives. It involves executing non-routine activities such as NPD, trials, and projects to enable operations and maintenance teams to focus on routine tasks. The role also serves as the point of contact for packaging process technical specifications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that Brewery quality and safety targets are met, emphasizing occupational health, safety, and risk management.
  2. Maintain overall reliability of the production process, optimize processes, manage assets, and ensure plant availability.
  3. Adhere to AB InBev and global packaging quality standards.
  4. Support the implementation of packaging strategies.
  5. Conduct line audits by machine as per Zone Technical Experts guidelines.
  6. Identify training needs and develop training plans for team members, fostering cross-skilling within the packaging shift team.
  7. Provide coaching and mentorship to Packaging Levels 1, 2, and 3.
  8. Analyze plant performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and waste reduction.
  9. Investigate plant failure modes and root causes of repeat failures to implement corrective actions.

  • Excellent understanding of VPO and effective communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to support autonomous shift-based teams in process problem-solving with expert advice.

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring, addressing deviations through non-conformance management procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Instrumentation).
  • Belt training.
  • Packaging technical/management/global management trainee experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of factory production experience at a management level.
  • Proven people management skills.
