RE Teacher

A 'Good' graded comprehensive school and sixth form in Maidstone are seeking a RE Teacher to join their department for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract. TLR options are available for experienced RE Teachers looking to progress their careers.

The Head of Religious Education is looking for an ambitious RE Teacher with a hard-working attitude who can contribute to the running of the RE department with their ideas and own research. The school has just under 1000 students and boasts excellent facilities, great career progression, CPD, and outstanding student behaviour. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects, including strong KS5 results leading to Oxbridge placements. This is an exciting opportunity for an RE Teacher to join the school.

Job Description - RE Teacher

• Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT

• MPS1 - UPS3 + TLRs (size dependent on experience)
• Salary: £31,650 - £49,084

• Strong academic background – Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Good subject knowledge as a Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT
