Job description

Vacancy: Branch Administrator - Rustenburg

A position has become vacant at our Secunda Branch and will report to the Branch Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to oversee all the Administrative, HR, and Financial responsibilities of the branch.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications, experience, and other competencies required:

  • Grade 12 or Matric Certificate.
  • A tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in a similar environment.
  • Payroll knowledge and experience – essential.
  • Financial knowledge – essential.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • No criminal record.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Reside within Secunda or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle payroll and salary concerns accurately and efficiently.
  • Daily booking of Guards on Posting Sheets.
  • Manage billing and finance, including reporting on the MOS report to the Branch and Senior Management.
  • Oversee personnel management, including onboarding and terminations.
  • Manage fleet and branch assets.
  • Manage budget allocation for the Transport Department, invoices, and PO requests.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with functions and financial actions.
  • Manage petty cash system and submissions.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Serve as a key contact for all branch departments.
  • Perform office administration duties such as answering calls, emails, and filing.
  • Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage schedules and deadlines for administrative functions.
  • Ensure smooth flow of information within the branch.
  • Coordinate and ensure branch compliance and audit readiness.
  • Oversee facilities, maintenance, and tradespersons.
  • Prepare reports and assist with presentations to managers and executives.
  • Support managers and executives with projects and tasks.
  • Engage with security officers regularly.
  • Handle pension and provident fund submissions.
  • Assist with UIF documentation.
  • Provide comprehensive branch support.
  • Act as key liaison between the branch and the group.
