Une entreprise leader dans l'industrie de la bière recherche un artisan électronique pour son département d'ingénierie à Stellenbosch. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de la maintenance des systèmes électroniques et devra avoir une expérience solide dans la programmation PLC et les réseaux industriels. Ce rôle nécessite un artisan qualifié avec au moins 3 ans d'expérience et la capacité de travailler sous pression, tout en gérant une équipe.

Qualifications

  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience pertinente dans l'environnement électronique.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et sous pression.
  • Disposé à gérer une équipe.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenir les systèmes électroniques sur les machines existantes.
  • Troubleshooting des pannes d'équipement électronique.
  • Installation et mise à niveau des systèmes de contrôle électronique.

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Site Engineering Department at Adam Tas in Stellenbosch. The successful applicant will report to the Utilities Specialist.


Key Performance Areas Include (but Are Not Limited To):
  • Maintaining electronic systems on existing machinery and equipment.
  • Attending to electronic-related equipment breakdowns.
  • Fault finding in electronic equipment.
  • Attending to electrical-related equipment breakdowns, if required.
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Ensuring all laboratory equipment calibrations remain up to date.
  • Installation of electronic systems on new machinery and equipment.
  • Upgrading, optimizing, and modifying electronic control systems.
  • Adhering to all relevant quality, health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Completing all relevant administration.
  • Providing inputs for budgets (OPEX and CAPEX).
The Successful Candidate Must Have the Following Experience/Skills:
  • Qualified Electronic/Electrical Artisan (T3/S3/N6).
  • Trade Tested.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in the electronics environment.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • PLC/HMI programming (Siemens S7, Win CC, Simotion Scout, TIA Portal, etc.).
  • Industrial networks (Profibus, Ethernet, ASI, etc.).
  • SCADA Systems / Plant Information Systems.
  • Electrical components (contactors, overloads, starters, sensors, PT100, etc.).
  • Variable speed drives (Danfoss, Telemechanique, Lenze, etc.).
  • Experience with utilities-type equipment, e.g., refrigeration plants, wastewater plants, etc., would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate in MS Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing and able to be on standby and respond to callouts after hours and on weekends (standby is rotated weekly).
  • Willing and able to work extended hours (overtime) as required.
  • Ability to cope with the physical demands of the position.
  • Willing to manage a team.
