The role involves approaching all customers with a friendly greeting, offering assistance, and identifying their needs to provide an optimal shopping experience. Responsibilities include serving customers, finding solutions to queries, applying selling skills, and advising on options, services, and products. The position requires meeting sales targets, staying informed about new lines and promotions, and specializing in all departments through focused supplier training and prescribed booklist completion.

Additional duties include following store disciplines and productivity standards, adhering to opening and closing procedures, ensuring merchandising principles are maintained with all items properly ticketed, and conducting accurate stock counts and expiry date checks. Cash handling at the point of sale and during cash-ups is also required.

Job Specifications

• Grade 12 or relevant diploma/short course in health and wellness modalities, effective retail selling, or product-specific knowledge; or a minimum of 3 years retail sales experience (2 years industry-specific).
• Relevant degree in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Phytotherapy, Chinese Medicine, or related natural health qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency assessment achieved.
